My name is Annie Hua.  I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California.  I am a second generation Asian-American.  Currently a Peace Corps Volunteer at Lanzhou City University in Gansu province.  This is my second time in China.  While I was in college, I studied at Fudan University in Shanghai for six months.  Lavender is my favorite color and I love to play badminton.  I am known to be a big foodie and love to travel.  My favorite Chinese food is dumplings.  A motto that I live by is “if there is a will, there is a way.”

    我叫华安妮，在美国加利福尼亚州的洛杉矶出生并成长，是第二代美籍亚裔。我是美国和平队的志愿教师，在兰州城市学院工作。这是我第二次来中国。大学期间我到上海，在复旦大学学习了六个月。我最喜欢的颜色是薰衣草紫，喜欢打羽毛球，热爱旅游，还是个吃货，最爱吃的中国食物是饺子。我的座右铭是“有志者事竟成”。
